Freeze drying candy is a process in which the candy is heated to a near mailable state, then a special machine is used to suck out air in the chamber causing the sugar to expand. Once the vacuum is released the sugars are rapidly cooled keeping it puffed state. Tada you have a recreated texture of your old favorite treat in a Krunchy texture.
